Moms in the Know has Gone Green!
It is very important to us to do what we can to ensure a healthy planet for our children and future generations. In our effort to lower our environmental impact, we are making some changes to our guide while keeping all the vital information our readers know and appreciate.
- We are keeping the paragraph listings to a maximum of 4 lines of text. This will be a slimmer product. However, we will be making the most of the paper we use.
- We use Professional Printers for all of our printing. They are Forest Stewardship Certified which ensures that the paper they use “comes from well-managed forests and is manufactured by companies that adhere to strict environmental standards.” By changing our paper to a high-quality recycled paper, our guide will be eligible for the FSC distinction.
- Vegetable-based inks are used to make printing more environmentally friendly.
- We are now offering advertising opportunities on our website at www.momsintheknow.com, which uses no paper.
We are looking forward to providing a high-quality publication that makes the least impact on our environment.
